Remember, when you had a horrible hairstyle in summer and your entourage laughed at you. As black people, we have been blessed with beautiful curly or coily hair. That is versatile, therefore we can easily change our hairdos. But don't forget, there is a style for everyone and what fits someone might not necessarily be the ideal look for you. Likewise, some might have ideas of which hairstyles to do but for those who do not have one we have few to suggest. 

First of all, if you have ever thought about transitioning your hair, this season might just be perfect for that. For many, this step signifies a new beginning. Additionally,  it gives the individual the occasion to start taking care of their beautiful hair. One of the most difficult decision to make is to start your natural hair over again. Once that decision is made, the real transformation begins, and it requires new natural hair products. 

Secondly, one of the most stylish hairdos for summer without doubt are cornrows, which is one of my favorite hairstyles of all time. I like this hairstyle because it’s simple, you do not have to keep it for a long time, and it takes less time to achieve this look. Also, box braids are equally stylish and protective. Whether you choose to wear it long or short, big or small, box braids are chic and on-trend. If you have a thin hair, doing small braids will be a better option because your hair will look fuller. Medium braids are easy to do, and you can be creative with it. The advantage of having big box braids is that it is not time consuming compared to the other two, except that it does not last for long. Therefore, if you are someone who do not like keeping braids for long, this style will be perfect to fit your need. Another hair style to consider is lengthy twists with few accessories in it. Let’s not forget, one of the easiest hairstyles to rock are Bantu knots. Other options to consider are locs, butterfly locs, low bum, turban, low ponytail, passion braids, jumbo braids with curly ends, wigs etc. 

In conclusion, whichever style you decide to rock this summer, enjoy it and do not forget to embrace your curly hair. One thing is sure, the pandemic have taught us one or two things about our hair. Many people have learnt how to take care of their hair by experimenting few hairstyles from YouTube, therefore I can assume that those people know which look to go for.
